How To Ship Your Jewelry for Repair

To prepare your jewelry for shipment, follow these simple steps.

  1. Gather your jewelry and set it in a sealable plastic bag.
  2. If you opted to package your jewelry at home, place the plastic bag in a sturdy box and add cushioning - such as newspaper or packing peanuts - to keep your items safe in transit. If you opted to have UPS package your jewelry for you, simply bring in the plastic bag and they will package it carefully for you and affix a label.
  3. If you're packaging your jewelry at home, seal the box securely with packaging tape on all sides.
  4. If you opted to print a label at home, print and affix it to your package. Otherwise, present your QR code at UPS and they'll label it for you!
  5. Drop your package off at any UPS store local to you.

How Does Insured Shipping Work?

Insurance covers the declared value of your item during transit, protecting against loss or damage.

While in transit, your valuables are fully insured in accordance to the declared value you provide when you submit your repair. Parcel insurance is provided by a highly reputable provider, InsureShield by UPS Capital Insurance Agency, who makes it easy to submit a claim online in just a few clicks in the unlikely event of a transit loss.
